  21. We all know what the scan-tron
  22. is, don't we??????
  23.  
  24. The scan-tron are those bitchy
  25. little cards with the little bubbles
  26. and rectangles that our precious
  27. teachers expect us to fill in with
  28. those #2 pencils. In the past you
  29. had some machine zap through the
  30. cards only to tell you that you have
  31. failed biology. This meant that mom
  32. and dad are gonna take your computer,
  33. telephone, and nights on the town
  34. and stuff them in their closet, (along
  35. with their kinky sex toys).

  37. Well, worry no more...
  38. A group of brilliant people from the
  39. Armed Forces Pirating Guild have come
  40. up with a simple, but workable method
  41. to evade those little red slashes that
  42. seem to say "nice try, faggot".
  43.  
  44. ***EXPLANATION***
  45.  
  46. Scan-tron machines detect right or wrong answers by picking up on led
  47. #2 pencil marks.
  48.  
  49. If nothing has been marked at all in
  50. the given space, then your answer
  51. will be marked wrong.  However, if
  52. there is neither a dark pencil mark
  53. nor a blank, the machine will get a
  54. little confused and simply not mark
  55. anything. You might say to yourself,
  56. "Well, what about the score printed
  57. at the end of the test??", to which
  58. point we respond...
  59.  
  60. Scan-tron machines assignes a variable
  61. to the number of possible points
  62. and the number of problems wrong.
  63. Then it subtracts one from the other
  64. and prints the answer at the bottom.
  65. The little red marks beside your
  66. answers represent the number wrong,
  67. however, if there is no red mark, then
  68. there is simply "nothing wrong" as
  69. far as the machine is concerned.
  70. And we all know that our beloved tea-
  71. chers pay no attention and leave
  72. all the adding to those wonderful
  73. little machines.

  75. ***HOW TO AVOID THE RED MARKS***
  76.  
  77. There are two types of fill sheets
  78. one can receive, ones with the
  79. circles to fill in, and ones with
  80. the rectangles to fill in.
  81.  
  82. On the ones with the circles, there
  83. is one way to avoid a slash...
  84. IF A CIRCLE IS LIGHTLY SHADED IN,
  85. TOO LIGHT FOR THE MACHINE AND
  86. TOO DARK FOR THE TEACHER TO QUESTION,
  87. THE MACHINE WILL GET CONFUSED AND
  88. SIMPLY LEAVE YOUR ANSWER BE.
  89. Once again, if there is no mark, the
  90. machine does not subtract from the
  91. total possible, and the teacher
  92. does not notice. Don't get it wrong
  93. though, the computer will mark
  94. a circle that has not been filled in
  95. at all 'wrong'. The only trick is
  96. to lightly fill it in with the cor-
  97. rect tint.

  99. Now for the rectangles...
  100.  
  101. The same method described for the
  102. circles will also work for the
  103. rectangle form, along with another
  104. method...
  105. This method is, drawing many diagon-
  106. al light lines through the rectangle.
  107. However, this method is not recommen-
  108. ded because 'teacher' will probably
  109. catch on (some teachers are really
  110. stupid though).
